서스틴베스트는 매년 상반기와 하반기에 상장·비상장 기업을 자산 규모별로 구분해 차등화된 기준에 따라 ESG 등급을 부여한다.올해 상반기에는 약 1300개 기업에 대해 ESG 관리 수준 평가 결과를 발표했다.국내 상장사 1072곳을 대상으로 ESG 경영을 선도하는 100대 기업‘ESG Best Companies’도 선정했다.

빙그레는 이번 ESG 평가에서 최고 등급인 AA 등급을 획득했다‘ESG Best Companies’에도 선정됐다.특히 에너지 사용 절감 및 온실가스 배출 저감 목표를 설정하고 다양한 활동을 수행한 점을 인정받았다.

빙그레 관계자는 “다음 세대를 위한 지속가능한 미래를 구축할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
