경기 양주시의 한 태권도장에서 5살 남자아이가 심정지 상태로 발견돼 경찰이 수사에 나선 가운데,해당 태권도장의 관장에 대해 구속영장이 신청됐다.

경기북부경찰청 여성청소년수사대는 아동학대범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법상 아동학대 중상해 혐의로 태권도장 관장인 30대 남성 A씨에 대해 구속영장을 신청했다고 13일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난 12일 오후 7시 20분쯤 양주시 덕계동의 한 태권도장에서 매트를 말아놓고 그 사이에 5살 B군을 거꾸로 넣은 채 10분 이상 방치해 중태에 빠지게 한 혐의를 받는다.

A씨는 B군이 숨을 쉬지 않자 같은 건물 아래층에 있는 의원으로 옮겼지만,로또 복권 1104회회복되지 않자 의원에서 119에 "5살 남자아이가 숨을 쉬지 않는다"고 신고했다.

A씨는 경찰 조사에서 "장난으로 그랬다"며 아동학대 혐의에 대해선 부인하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰 관계자는 "피의자가 이전에도 A군을 학대한 정황이 있다는 목격자 진술을 확보했다"며 "CCTV에 대해 포렌식을 진행하고 추가 범행이 있는지 조사를 이어갈 방침"이라고 말했다.

A씨에 대한 구속 전 피의자 심문(영장실질심사)은 14일 의정부지법에서 열릴 예정이다.
