한국형 초음속 전투기 KF-21이 양산에 들어가 2026년부터 순차적으로 대한민국 영공 수호에 투입된다.한국항공우주산업(KAI)은 방위사업청과 2조원에 육박하는 KF-21 최초 양산 계약을 체결했다.한화에어로스페이스와 한화시스템은 각각 KF-21용 엔진과 능동형 위상배열(AESA) 레이다를 공급한다.

KAI는 방사청과 1조9600억원 규모의 KF-21 최초 양산 계약을 체결했다고 25일 밝혔다.이번 계약에는 KF-21 총 20대와 기술 교범·교육 등 후속 군수 지원이 포함됐다.

KF-21은 현재 개발이 80% 정도 진행됐다.KF-21은 최초 시험평가를 통해 항공기의 우수한 성능과 안정성을 입증하고 이번 최초 양산 계약을 체결했다.체계 개발이 완료될 2026년부터 양산기 납품이 시작될 예정이다.KF-21은 최근 퇴역한 F-4와 향후 퇴역할 F-5 전투기를 대신해 영공 수호 임무를 맡게 된다.KF-21은 2022년 7월 시제 1호기 초도비행을 시작으로 시험비행에 본격 착수했다.올해 3월 공중급유 비행에 성공해 원거리 작전 능력을 확보하고 공대공 미티어 유도발사에 성공했다.또 항공기 고도,1092 로또 당첨 번호속도,1092 로또 당첨 번호기동성 등 임무 영역을 확장해 전투기 완성도를 높였다.한국형 전투기(KF-X) 체계 개발 사업은 공군이 장기간 운영해온 노후 전투기인 F-4와 F-5를 대체하고 미래 전장 운용 개념에 적합한 4.5세대 전투기를 개발하기 위한 사업이다.2015년 시작됐으며 개발 기간은 10년6개월이다.한화에어로스페이스는 이날 방사청과 5562억원 규모의 KF-21 최초 양산 엔진 공급 계약을 체결했다고 공시했다.한화에어로스페이스는 KF-21에 탑재되는 F414 엔진 40여 대와 예비 모듈 등을 납품할 예정이다.한화시스템도 방사청과 KF-21에 탑재될 AESA 레이다 최초 양산 계약을 체결했다.계약 규모는 1100억여 원으로,1092 로또 당첨 번호2025년 8월 말부터 KF-21에 탑재될 예정이다.
