[서울=뉴시스] 이명동 기자 = 러시아가 북한산 사과와 인삼을 수입할 가능성이 있다고 발표했다.

러시아 수의·식물감독청은 27일(현지시각) 세르게이 단크베르트 국장이 이날 김수철 북한 수출입품질관리위원회 부위원장과 농업 부문 협력 회담을 통해 북한이 러시아에 사과와 인삼을 공급하는 안을 논의했다고 알렸다.

김 부위원장은 북한이 러시아에 인삼을 수출할 준비가 됐다며 농산물과 유제품을 수입하고 싶다는 뜻을 내비쳤다고 한다.

수의·식물감독청은 "양측은 특히 채소와 과일의 상호 공급 측면에서 무역 협력을 확대할 큰 잠재력에 주목했다"고 덧붙였다.

양측은 회담 뒤 양국 수출입 제품 품질 관리·검역 분야 협력에 관한 각서에 서명했다.

러시아는 북한에 동물 질병 30여 종을 진단할 수 있는 검사 체계를 공급하는 데 협력하겠다고 북한에 전달했다.러시아 측은 과학적 지원을 포함해 검사 체계 데이터와 백신 표본을 무료로 제공할 수 있다는 뜻을 타전했다.

아울러 북한은 전문가 숙련을 위해 러시아에 인력을 파견하고 싶다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
