[부산=뉴시스]김민지 기자 = 경남 통영시 앞바다에서 조업 중이던 어선의 외국인 선원 2명이 홋줄에 맞아 중상을 입는 사고가 발생했다.

11일 남해지방해양경찰청에 따르면 지난 10일 오후 7시49분께 경남 통영시 홍도 인근 해상에서 조업 중인 중형저인망어선 A호(40t)에서 양망 작업을 하던 중 장력에 의해 홋줄이 풀렸다.

이 사고로 인도네시아 선원 B(30대)씨와 C(20대)씨가 홋줄에 맞아 중상을 입고 쓰러졌다.

신고를 받은 통영해경은 곧바로 경비함정을 현장으로 급파했고 남해해경청 상황실로 헬기 지원을 요청했다.이어 오후 8시12분께 현장에 도착한 해경 소속 경비함정 구조대는 B씨와 C씨를 경비정으로 옮긴 뒤 남해해경청 항공대 소속 S-92헬기로 부상자 2명을 대학병원으로 옮겼다.

병원 치료를 받고 있는 B씨와 C씨는 현재 생명에 지장이 없는 상태인 것으로 전해졌다.
