이렇게 집값은 오르는데 치솟는 공사비에 주택 공급에도 차질이 생기자 정부가 새로운 형태의 주택을 선보였습니다.대부분을 공장에서 만든 뒤 장난감 블록처럼 쌓아올리기만 하면 되는데,지금보다 공사 기간을 대폭 줄일 수 있다고 합니다.

400여 가구 규모의 세종시 공공임대주택 단지입니다.

600톤짜리 거대한 크레인이 집 한 채를 들어 올립니다.

차곡차곡 쌓기만 하면 끝,불과 30분 만에 집 한 채가 완성됐습니다.

이 아파트는 장난감 블록을 쌓아 올리는,라로수포제모듈러 방식으로 지어졌습니다.

일반 아파트 공사 현장과 달리 모듈러 주택은 전체 공정의 80%가량이 공장에서 이뤄집니다.

공사 기간은 30% 정도 단축되고,현장 인력도 줄일 수 있는 게 장점입니다.

지난해 국내 모듈러 건축 시장은 8000억원 규모로 급성장 중입니다.

LH는 이 모듈러 공법으로 20층 아파트를 포함해,내년엔 모두 1천 호를 공급하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 넘어야 할 산도 많습니다.

공사비가 일반 아파트보다 30% 정도 비싼 데다,높이나 용적률 등 규제를 완화할 주택법 개정이 이뤄져야 하기 때문입니다.

경기 평택시의 또 다른 단지에서는 기둥이나 콘크리트벽 등을 공장에서 만든 뒤,현장에서 조립하는 프리캐스트 콘크리트,라로수포제PC 공법이 시범 적용됐습니다.

LH는 공공주택을 중심으로 모듈러 주택을 늘려간단 계획인데,국민들의 인식 변화도 동반돼야 한다는 목소리도 나옵니다.
