[파이낸셜뉴스] CJ ENM의‘KCON LA 2024(케이콘 엘에이 2024)’가 K-팝 페스티벌 최초로 미국 공중파 CW 네트워크를 통해 프라임타임에 중계방송된다.

K-팝 팬&아티스트 페스티벌‘KCON LA 2024'는 현지시간 오는 7월 26~28일 미국 로스앤젤레스에 위치한 크립토닷컴 아레나와 LA 컨벤션 센터,아카라이브 룰렛길버트 린지 플라자(GILBERT LINDSAY PLAZA)에서 개최된다.

이중 마지막날인 28일 행사 중 엠카운트다운(M COUNTDOWN) 무대가 미국 유력 방송사 CW 네트워크를 통해 미국 동부시간 기준 7월 28일 오후 8시에 미국 전역에 생방송된다.K-팝 페스티벌이 미국 공중파 방송 프라임타임에 생중계되는 것은 이번이 최초다.

CJ ENM은 앞서 지난해‘KCON LA 2023’에서 미국 대형 라디오 방송사 아이하트미디어(iHeartMedia)와 미디어 파트너십을 체결해 KIIS FM 채널의 5개 음악 방송 채널을 통해 공동 프로모션을 진행하며 미국 전역 내 K-컬처의 접점 확대에 나선 바 있다.

뿐만 아니라,아카라이브 룰렛LA 지역 최초로 삼성 갤럭시가 타이틀 스폰서로 참여해 뜨거운 반응을 모았다.올해 역시 타이틀 스폰서로 삼성 갤럭시가 함께하며,신규 모델을 체험할 수 있는 대규모 공간 뿐만 아니라 다채로운 아티스트 컬래버레이션 프로그램을 통해 현지 K-POP 팬들과의 스킨십을 강화할 예정이다.
