캘리포니아산 오렌지 한국 전체 수입량의 33% 운송

9일 미국 해운전문지 저널오브커머스(JOC)의 '피어스 데이터(Piers Data)'에 따르면,바카라 도박HMM은 올해 한국향 캘리포니아산 오렌지 중 총 2982TEU(시장점유율 33%)를 운송해 지난해(2380TEU,25%)에 이어 2년 연속 1위를 기록했다.

국내에 수입되는 오렌지는 대부분 캘리포니아산으로 매년 1~4월 사이에 운송된다.

오렌지는 냉동ㆍ냉장이 가능한 '리퍼 컨테이너(Reefer Container)'로 운송되는 고부가가치 화물로 선사들의 유치 경쟁이 치열한 품목이다.태평양을 건너는 장기 운송과정에서 신선도를 유지해야 하기 때문에 고도의 운송능력이 필수적이다.

HMM은 전 세계 일부 선사만 운영하는 '울트라 프리저(Ultra Freezer,영하 60도까지 냉동이 가능한 특수 컨테이너)' 컨테이너를 운영하고 있다.

아울러 갈수록 고가의 민감 화물이 많아져 화주들의 운송정보 제공 요청이 늘어나고 있는데,이를 위해 HMM은 일부 리퍼 컨테이너에 사물인터넷(IoT) 장비를 부착하고 지난달부터 한국,바카라 도박미국,멕시코,바카라 도박칠레,바카라 도박페루 등 7개국 10개 지역을 대상으로 실시간 모니터링 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

HMM 관계자는 "냉동·냉장 기술이 발달되면서 수입 과일 등 시장 확대가 예상된다"며 "리퍼 컨테이너 등을 활용한 고부가가치 화물 유치와 시장점유율 확대에 적극 나설 계획"이라고 말했다.
