해피머니 상품권은 구매처 무관하게 신청대상한국소비자원은 티몬과 위메프의 정산지연 사태로 발생한 상품권 관련 소비자피해에 대해서도 집단분쟁조정 신청 절차에 착수한다고 16일 밝혔다.집단분쟁조정 신청은 오는 19일부터 시작된다.

신청 대상은 ▲티몬과 위메프에서 기프티콘을 포함한 상품권을 구입하고 청약철회 등(계약해제 포함)을 요청했으나 대금 환급이 거부된 소비자 ▲가맹점에서 사용이 중지돼 상품권 잔여금액의 환급을 요구했으나 거절당한 소비자 등이다.다만,울챔스현재 사용이 불가한 해피머니 상품권은 구매처와 관계없이 신청 대상에 포함할 계획이다.

소비자들은 한국소비자원 홈페이지를 통해 이달 19일부터 27일까지 집단분쟁조정 참가를 신청할 수 있다.

계약 품목이 여행,숙박,울챔스항공권,울챔스상품권이 아니거나,상품권이라 하더라도 이번 집단분쟁조정 신청 대상에 포함되지 않는 경우에는 1372소비자상담센터를 통해 소비자 상담 및 피해구제 등의 절차를 현행대로 진행한다.

소비자원이 티몬·위메프(티메프)에서 구매한 상품권의 집단분쟁조정 절차에 나선 건 관련 소비자 피해가 커서다.7월22일부터 8월13일까지 1372소비자상담센터에 접수된 티메프 관련 상품권에 대한 소비자 상담은 1322건에 달했다.이는 여행과 숙박 다음으로 많은 상담이 접수 건수다.

앞서 한국소비자원은 티메프 사태 관련 전담대응팀을 설치하고 여행,숙박,항공권에 대한 집단분쟁조정 참가자를 모집한 바 있다.해당 집단분쟁조정에는 9028명이 신청했다.

한국소비자원 관계자는 "집단분쟁조정 신청을 원하는 소비자들은 모집 요강을 참조해 신청 기간 내에 조정 신청에 참가해달라"고 당부했다.
