경남 밀양지역 한 공기업에서 근무하는 것으로 알려진 '여중생 성폭행 사건' 가해자 중 한 명인 A 씨가 최근 사직서를 제출한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

오늘(19일) 밀양시와 시 산하 밀양시시설관리공단에 따르면 A 씨는 지난 17일 공단에 사직서를 제출했습니다.

A 씨는 한 유튜브가 자신을 성폭행 사건 가해자 중 한 명으로 지목한 이후 밀양시와 해당 공단에 자신의 해고를 요구하는 글과 전화가 빗발치자 사직서를 제출한 것으로 보입니다.

공단은 내부 인사 매뉴얼에 따라 신원조회 후 이르면 이번 주 내 사직 처리한다는 방침입니다.

A 씨는 밀양에 있는 민간 시설물 관리 업체에 근무하다 공단이 출범한 2017년 공개채용을 통해 입사한 것으로 파악됐습니다.
