금융감독원과 경찰청,국민건강보험공단,생명보험협회,손해보험협회는 오는 14일부터 시행되는‘보험사기방지 특별법’의 주요 내용을 알리기 위해 대대적인 홍보 캠페인을 전개한다고 12일 밝혔다.이 법은 보험사기의 알선,유인,권유,광고 행위 자체만으로도 처벌할 수 있는 근거를 마련해 보험사기 방지에 대한 강력한 메시지를 전달하고자 하자는 취지를 담았다.

이번 홍보 캠페인은 오는 14일부터 9월 30일까지 집중적으로 진행되며,국민들에게 법 개정 내용을 효과적으로 알리기 위해 다양한 매체를 활용한다.네이버와 카카오의 카페 및 블로그 홈 화면,주요 포털사이트의 배너 광고,건강보험료 고지서 등을 통해 법 개정 사항을 홍보할 예정이다.특히 온라인에서 보험사기로 의심되는 광고 행위에 대한 신고 이벤트도 진행돼,온라인 고스톱신고자에게는 커피 쿠폰이 증정된다.이밖에 교통시설 전광판,보험대리점(GA),대리점 등에도 홍보 포스터가 게시될 예정이다.

금감원 관계자는 “보험사기 알선,유인,권유,광고 행위가 법적으로 금지됨에 따라 이를 위반할 경우 엄중히 처벌할 것”이라며 “국민들의 적극적인 협조와 제보가 필요하다”고 강조했다.
