성악과 입시를 준비하는 수험생들에게 불법으로 과외수업을 해준 대학교수와 입시 브로커 등 17명이 검찰에 송치됐습니다.

이중 일부 교수들은 입시 심사위원으로 참여해 자신이 가르친 학생에게 높은 점수를 준 걸로 드러났습니다.

서울 소재 유명 대학의 성악과 입학시험 실기 평가표입니다.

다른 입시생들보다 유독 점수가 높은 두 학생이 눈에 띕니다.

알고 보니 점수를 준 심사위원은 시험 전 해당 학생들에게 과외를 해준 성악과 교수였습니다.

현행 학원법상 교원이 과외수업을 하는 건 불법입니다.

경찰 수사 결과 이 교수를 포함해 음대 교수 13명은 입시 브로커와 공모해 이른바 '마스터클래스'라는 이름의 과외수업을 진행해 모두 1억 3천만 원 상당을 챙긴 걸로 드러났습니다.

교수들은 1회 수업에만 최대 50만 원을 현금으로 받아 갔는데,카라 바둑이 다운로드수험생 측은 레슨비는 물론 연습실 대관료까지 모두 부담해야 했습니다.

심지어 교수 중 5명은 서울대와 숙명여대,카라 바둑이 다운로드경희대 등 4개 대학 입시 심사위원으로 참여해 자신이 가르친 학생에게 점수를 높게 준 걸로 파악됐습니다.

이 같은 음대 입시 비리는 끊이지 않습니다.

앞서 지난 2021년엔 경희대 피아노과 교수가 불법 과외를 하고,카라 바둑이 다운로드실기 심사위원으로도 참여했다는 의혹이 제기돼 올해 초 교육부가 조사에 나서기도 했습니다.

"전부 다 쉬쉬하고 있었는데 암암리에 그런 풍문은 좀 많았던 건 사실입니다.(재발 방지를 위해) 누가 어느 학교에 가서 심사하는지를 모르게 해야 되고…"

서울경찰청 반부패수사대는 입시 브로커와 대학교수들,카라 바둑이 다운로드그리고 교수에게 합격 답례로 현금과 명품 가방을 건넨 학부모 등 17명을 입건해 검찰에 넘겼습니다.
