(세종=연합뉴스) 한종구 기자 = 세종시와 행정중심복합도시건설청(행복청)이 무주택 청년을 위한 공공 임대주택 202가구를 2028년까지 공급한다.

시는 16일 국토교통부 주관 '2024년 상반기 청년특화 공공 임대주택 공모사업'에 선정돼 주택건설비의 최대 80%를 지원받을 수 있게 됐다며 이같이 밝혔다.

청년특화주택은 도심 내 청년층의 주거 안정을 위해 역세권 같은 우수한 입지에 공급하는 임대주택이다.

시와 행복청은 국비와 기금 등 총사업비 768억5천만원을 투입해 세종시 집현동 일대에 들어서는 공동캠퍼스 인근에 공공 임대주택 202가구와 청년 취업·창업 등을 위한 시설을 건립할 계획이다.

입주 대상은 19∼39세 미혼 청년과 대학생 1인 가구로,카지노 모빌임대료는 시세의 반값 수준에서 책정될 예정이다.

기준 중위소득 170% 이하 소득 기준을 충족해야 하며 기본 2년,카지노 모빌최대 6년까지 거주할 수 있다.

최민호 시장은 "시정 4기 공약으로 추진 중인 청년 임대주택 공급사업이 이번 공모 선정으로 추진 동력을 얻게 됐다"며 "무주택 청년들의 지역 정착을 위해 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
