NHN벅스‘LG채널’에 음악 큐레이션 브랜드‘essential;(에센셜)’채널 국내외 서비스 시작.<사진=NHN벅스>NHN벅스는 LG전자와 제휴를 맺고‘LG채널’에‘essential;’(에센셜) 플레이리스트를 감상할 수 있는‘광고 기반 무료 스트리밍 서비스’(Free Ad Supported Streaming·FAST) 채널을 해외 주요국에서 서비스를 개시했다고 2일 밝혔다.
구체적으로 NHN벅스는 LG전자의 글로벌 콘텐츠 스트리밍 플랫폼인 LG채널에 자사의 음악 큐레이션 브랜드 essential; 채널을 열었다.이 서비스는 한국을 비롯해 일본,dps 높은 챔피언인도,호주,멕시코,브라질,아르헨티나,칠레,콜롬비아,dps 높은 챔피언페루 등 글로벌 10개국에서 송출된다.국내가 아닌 해외에서 essential; 채널이 서비스되는 것은 이번이 처음이다.
국내의 경우 essential; 채널 번호는 7월 한 달 간 141번이며,8월부터는 700번에서 시청 가능하다.LG 스마트 TV 이용자는 별도 가입이나 구독료 없이 essential; 채널을 선택해 이용할 수 있다.
NHN벅스 관계자는 “LG전자와 협력해 essential; 채널 서비스 국가를 순차적으로 추가 확대할 예정”이라며 “여러 주제별로 적합한 무드의 플레이리스트를 구성해 제공하면서 다양한 국적 이용자의 음악 취향을 충족시켜드릴 것”이라고 말했다.
