[서울=뉴시스] 이준수 은행·중소서민금융 부원장이 3일 서울 여의도 금융감독원에서 17개 국내은행 부행장과 함께 은행권 가계부채 간담회를 하고 있다.(사진=금융감독원 제공) 2024.07.03.*재판매 및 DB 금지[서울=뉴시스] 김형섭 기자 = 금융감독원은 이준수 은행·중소금융 담당 부원장이 15일(현지시간)부터 이틀간 말레이시아 페낭에서 개최된 제13차 동아시아·태평양지역 금융감독기관장 및 중앙은행 총재 회의(EMEAP GHOS)에 참석했다고 16일 밝혔다.

EMEAP은 동아시아·태평양 지역 11개국 금융감독기구와 중앙은행간 상호 협력증진 및 정보교환을 목적으로 1991년 설립된 기구다.

이번 회의에서는 ▲디지털 시대의 금융혁신에 대한 감독·규제 ▲바젤Ⅲ 등 새로운 국제규제가 역내 금융환경에 미치는 영향 등이 다뤄졌다.

이 부원장은 회의에서 "한국의 인터넷은행은 은행산업내 혁신을 통한 경쟁 촉진 및 취약층으로 금융서비스 저변을 확대하는 효과가 있었다"고 설명했다.

이어 "향후 인터넷은행의 지속가능한 성장을 위해서는 차별화된 혁신노력의 지속,2군 야구중저신용자 대출 확대에도 자산건전성을 유지할 수 있는 신용평가시스템 고도화를 추진하는 가운데 가계부채의 안정적 관리에 부합하는 적정수준의 가계대출 증가 유지,2군 야구사이버리스크·디지털 금융사기 등에 대비한 디지털 운영복원력 유지 등이 중요하다"고 강조했다.

이 부원장은 존 론스데일 호주 건전성감독청(APRA) 의장과 별도의 면담도 갖고 금융회사 리스크 문화 감독,2군 야구스트레스 테스트시 지정학적 리스크 고려 등 금융감독 현안에 대한 의견을 공유하고 협력 강화 방안을 협의했다.
