서울 동작구 재가의료급여 시범사업 현장./사진제공=서울시서울시는 그동안 일부 자치구에서 시범 운영되어 온 '재가 의료급여' 사업을 다음달부터 25개 전 자치구로 확대,피양콩할머니본격 시행에 들어간다고 27일 밝혔다.

재가 의료급여는 집에서 머물며 치료를 지속할 수 있도록 의료를 비롯해 돌봄.식사.이동.주거 등 통합서비스를 제공하는 신규 의료급여 사업이다.의료급여수급자로 장기입원 중인 대상자 등 의료적 필요도가 낮으면서 퇴원하더라도 안정적인 주거가 있거나 주거 연계 가능한 사람을 대상으로 지원한다.

자치구는 올해 상반기 '재가 의료급여' 사업에 참여할 관내.외 의료기관과 돌봄,피양콩할머니식사,피양콩할머니이동 서비스를 제공할 기관을 발굴,피양콩할머니협력체계를 구축해 왔다.하반기부터 장기입원 의료급여수급권자 중에서 '재가 생활'이 가능한 대상자를 선정하여 서비스를 제공하게 된다.

서비스는 대상자의 건강 수준,피양콩할머니생활 실태 모니터링 결과에 따라 퇴원 시부터 1년까지 제공되며,피양콩할머니필요할 경우엔 대상자 평가를 통해 추가 1년을 연장할 수 있다.

시 의료급여수급자 중 장기입원자는 1만여 명이며,시는 이 중 올 하반기 월평균 200여 명의 대상자를 발굴.지원해 나갈 계획이다.정상훈 시 복지정책실장은 "다양한 복지서비스를 병원이 아닌 가정에서 편안하게 받으실 수 있도록 재가 의료급여 사업을 확대한다"며 "앞으로도 의료를 비롯한 각종 복지 서비스를 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 정책을 다각적으로 발굴,추진해 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
