(서울=연합뉴스) 노재현 기자 = 스타트업얼라이언스는 신임 센터장으로 이기대 전 강원 창조경제혁신센터장을 선임했다고 4일 밝혔다.

이 신임 센터장은 한양대 전자공학 학사,ㅇㄷ사이트링크뉴욕주립대 전기공학 석사 과정을 마쳤으며 오랫동안 한국과 미국에서 스타트업 생태계에 몸담은 전문가다.

2015년 스타트업얼라이언스에 합류한 뒤 7년간 이사로 재직했고 2022년 6월부터 2년 동안 강원 창조경제혁신센터장을 지냈다.

스타트업얼라이언스는 신임 센터장 선임을 계기로 ▲ 스타트업 생태계 허브 역할 ▲ 스타트업 정책 자료 제공 ▲ 스타트업 임직원 역량 강화 ▲ 지역 스타트업 생태계 지원 등 다양한 사업을 펼치겠다고 밝혔다.

이 신임 센터장은 "회원사의 기반 확대를 통해 스타트업얼라이언스의 성장을 도모하고 수익 구조 다양화를 고민하겠다"며 "투자사,ㅇㄷ사이트링크대기업,중견기업,공공기관,대학 등 생태계 조성자들을 위한 프로그램을 신설하거나 강화할 것"이라고 말했다.

2014년 3월 개소한 스타트업얼라이언스는 지난 10년간 국내외 네트워크 조성,데이터 기반 콘텐츠 제공,ㅇㄷ사이트링크정책 연구·규제 대응 등 스타트업 생태계 구성원을 연결하는 기관으로 성장했다.
