코스닥에 상장된 한 중견기업의 회장이 아내 머리를 와인병으로 내리치는 등 폭행한 혐의로 검찰에 송치됐다.

서울 강남경찰서는 지난 26일 코스닥 상장기업인 한 중견기업 회장 A씨를 특수상해 등 혐의로 서울중앙지검에 불구속 송치했다고 30일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난달 말 서울 강남구 자택에서 와인병으로 배우자 B씨 머리를 가격하는 등 폭행해 전치 6주 상해를 입힌 혐의를 받는다.

B씨는 이전에도 가정폭력을 당해왔고 A씨가 사건 발생 이후 '너 때문에 수갑 차고 가게 생겼다'는 취지의 연락을 수차례 취해 자신을 협박했다고 주장했다.

다만 경찰이 구속영장을 신청했으나 법원은 도주 우려가 적은 점 등을 이유로 신청을 받아들이지 않은 것으로 확인됐다.
