경기경제자유구역청(이하 경기경제청)이 평택 포승(BIX: Business Industry Complex)지구에 890억원 규모 기업투자를 유치했다.

경기경제청은 지난 26일 평택 경기경제자유구역 8층 회의실에서 평택시,알베르 비쇼 샤블리㈜진성에스앤피,고려항업(주),㈜진용엔지니어링,㈜세아에스에이와 투자협약을 체결했다.

투자 규모는 산업시설용지 4만 106㎡,알베르 비쇼 샤블리총 890억원 규모다.협약을 통한 기대효과는 △235명 고용 효과 △지역경제 활성화 △소재·부품·장비 기업 유치를 통한 강소기업 육성 △미래모빌리티 클러스터 가속화 등이다.

투자 기업인 ㈜진성에스앤피는 포승(BIX)지구에 첨단자동화 생산시설을 조성해 물류비 및 생산원가 절감할 계획이다.고려항업(주)은 미국,독일 등 해외 수입에 의존하고 있는 디스플레이 특수유리를 자체 연구·개발해 국산화한 기술기업이며 관련 제조시설을 건립한다.㈜진용엔지니어링과 ㈜세아에스에이는 각각 2차전지 핵심소재,바이오의약필름 등의 장비 제조와 자동화시스템 솔루션 제조시설을 설립한다.

경기경제청과 평택시는 기업들의 공장 건축에 필요한 각종 인허가와 준공 시까지 발생하는 고충 해결에 지원을 약속했다.또 평택 포승(BIX)지구 내 조속한 제조시설 조성으로 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고 친환경적 시설 운영과 관리를 위해 함께 노력하기로 했다.

최원용 경기경제청장은 "대내외 경제 여건이 어려운 상황에서도 포승(BIX)지구에 투자를 결정해 주신 4개 기업에 감사하다"면서 "입주기업들이 경자구역에서 사업을 하는 데 어려움이 없도록 모든 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
