[서울=뉴시스] 이수지 기자 = 서경덕 성신여대 교수는 가수 겸 배우 함은정과 광복절을 맞아 독립운동가이자 시인 이육사를 소개하는 다국어 영상을 공개했다.

14일 한국어와 영어로 공개된 5분 분량 영상은 1930년대 독립운동이 무장투쟁 노선으로 접어들면서 이육사가 의열단이 운영하는 조선혁명군사정치간부학교에 입학한 후 활동을 소개하고 있다.

서른을 넘겨 등단한 이육사는 아름다운 서정과 강인한 의지가 담긴 시로 암울한 현실 속 우리 민족에게 독립의 희망을 전해줬던 점을 조명했다.

이 영상을 기획한 서 교수는 "점차 대중들에게 잊혀져 가는 독립운동가들을 재조명하고,크로아티아 스플리트영상으로 이들의 삶을 널리 알리는 일은 지금 우리 세대가 해야 할 가장 중요한 일"이라고 강조했다.
