모바일 AP는 스마트워치를 구동시키는 두뇌 역할을 하는 핵심 반도체다.엑시노스 W1000에는 Arm 코어텍스-A78 메인코어와 코어텍스-A55 4개가 탑재됐다.이 AP는 전작 5나노 핀펫(FinFET) 공정 기반의 W930 대비 최대 주요 앱을 2.7배 빠르게 실행해 준다.또 2.5D AOD(Always On Display) 엔진을 탑재해 더 밝은 워치 페이스를 구현한다는 점도 특징이다.

한편,삼성전자 웨어러블 AP는 그동안 갤럭시워치 시리즈뿐 아니라 구글의 스마트워치 '픽셀워치' 등에 탑재돼 왔다.갤럭시워치6에는 5나노 공정에서 생산된 'W930' AP,갤럭시워치5에는 5나노 공정 기반의 'W920'이 사용됐다.
