[수원=뉴시스] 이병희 기자 = 김동연 경기도지사가 79주년 광복절인 15일 둘로 쪼개져 열린 광복절 기념식을 언급하 '국민 통합'을 강조했다.

김 지사는 이날 자신의 페이스북에 "광복 79주년,뜻깊은 날이다.대한독립을 다 함께 기뻐해야 할 경축일이지만,사회는 분열되고 급기야 광복절도 둘로 쪼개졌다"라고 썼다.

그는 "정부의 현실 인식은 여전히 안타깝고 개탄스럽다.오늘 반쪽 기념식에서 대통령은 '더 큰 역사의 발전을 이뤄내야 한다'고 했다.왜곡된 역사 인식,분열과 갈등으로 어떻게 이뤄낼 수 있다는 말인가"라며 윤 정부를 비판했다.

그러면서 "고맙게도 경기도의 광복절은 많은 광복회원들께서 함께 해주셨다.화성 제암리·고주리 학살사건을 재연한 특별공연으로 더욱 뜻깊었다"라고도 했다.

끝으로 김 지사는 "국민 통합만이 나라가 살길이다.갈등과 분열을 끝내고 온 국민이 화합하는 대한민국으로 힘차게 나아갑시다.경기도가 앞장서겠다"라고 덧붙였다.

한편 뉴라이트 인사로 지목된 김형석 독립기념관장 임명 등 윤석열 정부의 역사관 논란으로 광복절 경축식이 반쪽으로 치러졌다.8·15 광복절을 기념하는 행사는 정부 주최 경축식과 독립운동단체 기념식으로 나뉘어 열렸다．
