영국 케임브리지 대학교 경영학석사(MBA) 학생 및 교수진 40여명이 SK텔레콤을 방문해 글로벌 인공지능(AI) 전략에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

케임브리지 측은 SKT가 글로벌 빅테크와 AI 파트너십을 확대해 나가고 있는 점과 차별화된 AI 기술·서비스 경쟁력을 갖췄다는 점에 주목해 이번 탐방을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 글로벌 기업을 탐방하며 각 기업 글로벌 전략을 학습하는 케임브리지대 MBA IBST 프로그램 일환이다.재학생 37명과 지도교수 2명은 지난 9일 T타워를 방문해 'SKT 글로벌 AI 전략'을 주제로 SKT 임원진 발표를 듣고 질의응답,토론 등 반나절 가량 연구활동을 전개했다.

이지용 SKT AI제휴개발 부사장과 에릭 데이비스 AI 기술협력 부사장은 SKT AI 피라미드 전략과 글로벌 텔코 AI 얼라이언스 중심의 사업 계획,텔코LLM 사용 사례에 대해 직접 발표했다.

토론에 이어,브렉시트 토토학생들과 교수진은 SKT ICT 체험관 티움을 관람하며 미래 가상도시 '하이랜드'를 배경으로 초고속 교통수단 '하이퍼루프',AI 홀로그램 회의,AI 원격 의료,브렉시트 토토도심항공교통(UAM) 등 SKT AI기술로 구현된 다양한 미래 기술들을 체험했다.
