[앵커]

이렇게 전국 대부분 지역이 장마 영향권에 들었지만 강원도 동해안은 오늘(29일) 맑고 화창한 한여름 날씨를 보였습니다.

사상 첫 6월 개장으로,오늘 문을 연 강릉 경포해수욕장은 피서객들로 북적였습니다.

보도에 정상빈 기자입니다.

[리포트]

31도가 넘는 더위 속에 피서객들이 푸른 바다에 몸을 내던집니다.

해상에선 모터보트가 하얀 포말을 일으키며 시원스레 물살을 가릅니다.

동해안을 대표하는 강릉 경포해수욕장이 오늘 정식 개장하고 피서객 맞이에 나섰습니다.

경포해수욕장이 6월에 개장한 건 이번이 처음입니다.

[이세빈·심지윤·노아영·문수빈/강원도 강릉시 : "시험 동안 (스트레스) 쌓였던 거 바다에 다 풀어놓고.너무 시원하게 있어 가지고 너무 좋은 거 같아요."]

뙤약볕에 달궈진 백사장에선 모래찜질을 하며 즐거운 추억을 쌓습니다.

[조한석·강서경/경기도 고양시 : "아내랑 같이 오랜만에 경포대(경포해수욕장)에 왔는데 모래에 묻혀 있으니까 색다르고 굉장히 시원한 것 같습니다."]

해수욕장 개장에 맞춰 맥주 축제가 열리고,롤 야구물놀이 시설을 설치하는 등 다양한 즐길 거리도 마련됐습니다.

해수욕장이 개장하면서 안전요원이 배치됐지만,롤 야구혹시 모를 사고에 대비해 개인별로도 구명조끼를 반드시 착용해야 합니다.

[민승환/강원도 고성군 아야진 번영회 사무국장 : "피서객들이 점점 찾아오기 때문에 저희 자체적으로 안전요원을 배치도 하고."]

특히 동해안에 상어가 갈수록 빈번하게 출몰하면서 주요 해수욕장엔 상어 방지망 등 안전 대책도 강화됐습니다.

서해안 최대,보령 대천해수욕장도 오늘 개장하는 등 때 이른 무더위에 해수욕장마다 손님맞이 채비를 서두르고 있습니다.
