인천 송도국제도시 일대에서 수질 악화로 인해 수돗물 이용에 차질이 빚어지다가 35시간여 만에 정상화됐습니다.

오늘(27일) 인천시 상수도사업본부에 따르면 오늘 오전 1시 30분 기준 연수구 송도동에 공급되는 수돗물의 탁도가 음용 기준인 0.5NTU 이하를 충족했습니다.

이는 지난 25일 오후 2시쯤 송도 2·4·5동 일대에서 탁도 수치가 법정 기준을 넘어선 지 35시간여 만입니다.

상수도사업본부 관계자는 "15개 지점에서 수질을 측정한 결과 모두 적정 수치로 확인됐다"며 "수돗물을 정상 공급하고 있다"고 말했습니다.

앞서 지난 20일 오전 3시쯤 송도동 센트럴로 교차로 부근에서는 지하 상수도관 파열로 누수가 발생해 도로가 침수됐습니다.

이후 상수도관 긴급 복구 작업이 이뤄졌으나 25일 오후 2시쯤 통수 재개 과정에서 불순물이 섞여 나오며 수질이 급격히 나빠졌습니다.

상수도사업본부는 탁도 수치가 높아지자 상수도관 세척과 방류 작업을 실시했고 이에 따라 송도 2·4·5동 일부 아파트를 중심으로 수돗물 이용이 제한됐습니다.

아파트마다 자체 저수조에 보관된 생활용수를 사용할 수 있었지만,로또 추첨 몇시 에 하나요저수조 물량이 떨어지는 사례가 잇따르며 불편이 커졌습니다.

일부 아파트 단지에는 현장에 투입된 급수차에서 물을 받으려는 주민들이 몰리며 긴 대기 줄이 형성되기도 했습니다.
