[서울=뉴시스] 조현아 기자 = 11대 서울시의회 후반기를 이끌 의장 후보로 국민의힘 최호정 원내대표가 선출됐다.

최 후보가 25일 서울시의회 본회의에서 의장으로 확정되면 1956년 서울시의회 개원 68년 만에 사상 첫 여성 의장이 탄생하게 된다.

서울시의회 국민의힘은 19일 본회의장에서 의원총회를 열고 최다선(3선) 시의원인 최 원내대표(서초4)를 후반기 의장 후보로 선출했다.

이번 의장 후보 선출은 최 후보와 재선인 남창진(송파2) 부의장,올스타 슬롯 무료 칩박중화(성동1) 교통위원장 등 3파전으로 치러졌다.1차 투표에서 과반 득표자가 나오지 않아 득표 순으로 최호정·남창진 후보간 결선 투표 끝에 최 후보가 최종 후보로 선출됐다.

최 후보는 이화여대 석사,올스타 슬롯 무료 칩서울시립대 행정학과 박사과정을 수료하고 국민의힘 서울시당 여성위원장,올스타 슬롯 무료 칩제20대 대통령직인수위 국민통합위원회 자문위원 등을 역임했다.

통상 다수당에서 의장직을 맡는 만큼,올스타 슬롯 무료 칩국민의힘 후보가 의장직을 맡게 된다.더불어민주당은 의장 후보를 내놓지 않은 상황이다.현재 시의회는 국민의힘 75석,올스타 슬롯 무료 칩더불어민주당 37석으로 국민의힘이 다수당이다.

국민의힘 부의장에는 이종환(강북1) 의원이 선출됐다.시의회 부의장 두 자리는 교섭단체인 국민의힘과 더불어민주당이 나눠 맡는다.

국민의힘 원내대표에는 재선인 이성배(송파4) 의원이 당선됐다.

더불어민주당 부의장 후보로는 3선인 김인제(구로2) 의원이 단독으로 등록해 추대될 전망이다.

후반기 의장단은 오는 25일 열리는 서울시의회 제324회 정례회 본회의에서 전체 의원 투표를 통해 최종 확정된다.
