기증관은 고(故) 이건희 삼성전자 회장 유족이 국가에 기증한 문화재(2만1693점)와 미술작품(1488점)을 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 수장 및 관람 시설이다.

다양한 역사 유물,로또 3등 상금고미술품,로또 3등 상금근현대미술품 등을 한 공간에 전시해 박물관과 미술관의 기능을 동시에 수행한다.문체부는 특히 한국 대중문화를 포함해 한국 고유문화가 세계적 주목을 받는 현 시점에서 기증관은 한국 고유의 철학과 가치를 경험할 복합 문화공간으로 만든다는 포부를 가지고 있다.

이를 위해 지난해 1월 서울시와 부지를 교환한 종로구 송현동(송현문화공원 내) 9787㎡ 대지에 총사업비 1078억 원을 투입해 연면적 2만5696㎡,로또 3등 상금지하 2층,로또 3등 상금지상 3층 규모의 (가칭)이건희 기증관 건립사업(2028년 개관 예정)을 추진하고 있다.

이번 공모는 국내외 건축가 누구나 참여할 수 있으며,로또 3등 상금외국 건축사 자격만 있는 사람은 국내 건축사와 공동으로 참여해야 한다.오는 26일 오후 5시까지 공식 홈페이지에서 참가 등록을 받고,로또 3등 상금등록자에 한해 10월10일 오후 5시까지 설계안을 접수한다.문체부는 기술심사와 작품심사를 거쳐 10월24일에 최종 당선작을 발표할 예정이다.
