경산시‘지역소멸 대응형’사업 맡아 수행

24일 업계에 따르면 센코가 최근 해당 사업자 중 하나로 선정된 경산시 주관사로 결정됐다.이 사업은 중소도시들이 기후위기·지역소멸 등 환경변화에 대응력을 확보할 수 있도록 특화 솔루션이 집약된 선도도시 조성을 목표로 한다.

조성사업 공모에는 총 17개 지자체가 신청해 5.7 대 1의 경쟁률을 가리켰다.최종적으로 광명시(기후위기 대응형),로또복권 판매점태백시(지역소멸 대응형),로또복권 판매점경산시(지역소멸 대응형)가 선정됐고,로또복권 판매점각 도시에는 3년간 국비 80억원(지방비 1대 1매칭)씩 지원된다.

센코는 경산시 주관사로서 약 180억원 규모 사업을 2026년까지 컨소시엄 기관들과 함께 수행한다.센코는 전기화학식 가스센서 전문 업체로 대기오염 물질 감지센서와 함께 사물인터넷(IoT) 센서기기를 포함한 다양한 스마트도시 솔루션을 공급하고 있다.

이번 사업에선 △기후위기 대응 시민행복 솔루션 △스마트 미디어 아트 솔루션 △인공지능 기반 경산 스마트 APP △청년창업 스마트 플랫폼을 개발에 참여할 계획이다.

이와 함께 센코는 경산시와 함께 청년인구 감소로 인한 지역경제 쇠퇴 문제를 해결하고자 도시데이터 기반 첨단산업 활성화 및 도시 서비스를 구현한다.

하승철 센코 대표는 “도시 환경데이터 수집을 위한 센서와 IoT 센서기기 생산뿐 아니라 다양한 스마트도시 솔루션을 공급하는 사업을 수행 중”이라며 “최근 스마트시티,로또복권 판매점스마트 그린산단,스마트타운 첼린지 등의 사업 참여를 통해 안전,환경 분야를 넘어 다양한 스마트 솔루션 및 스마트 서비스에 대한 핵심 역량을 키워 나가고 있다”고 말했다.
