아마존게임즈와 협업…PC·콘솔 플레이 가능
내달 18일부터 23일까지 오픈 베타 테스트

엔씨소프트가 아마존게임즈와 MMORPG '쓰론 앤 리버티'의 글로벌 서비스를 9월 17일 시작한다.ⓒ엔씨소프트[데일리안 = 이주은 기자] 엔씨소프트는 아마존게임즈와 협업해 MMORPG(다중접속역할수행게임)‘쓰론 앤 리버티(이하 TL)’의 글로벌 서비스를 9월 17일 시작한다고 19일 밝혔다.

TL 글로벌 서비스 지역은 북·남미,야구 우천콜드유럽,호주,야구 우천콜드뉴질랜드,야구 우천콜드일본이다.글로벌 이용자는 PC 스팀,야구 우천콜드플레이스테이션 5(PS5),야구 우천콜드엑스박스 시리즈 S|X 플랫폼에서 플레이할 수 있다.

엔씨와 아마존게임즈는 론칭을 앞두고 TL을 미리 체험할 수 있는 오픈 베타 테스트(OBT)를 7월 18일부터 23일까지 진행한다.마지막 테스트에서 확인된 이용자 피드백을 반영해 완성도를 높인다는 계획이다.

엔씨 최문영 TL 캡틴은 “글로벌 게임 서비스 경험과 역량을 보유한 아마존게임즈와 함께 TL을 세계 시장에 선보일 수 있게 돼 기쁘다"며 "높은 완성도로 한국과 글로벌 이용자에게 TL 고유의 재미를 선사할 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것"이라고 말했다.

아마존게임즈 머브 리 콰이(Merv Lee Kwai) 써드파티 퍼블리싱 총괄은 “TL의 장대한 스케일을 전세계 이용자에게 선보일 수 있어 흥분된다”며 “론칭 소식을 기다리고 있는 모든 이용자가 9월부터 TL을 플레이할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.

TL 글로벌 서비스와 더불어 한국에서는 올 여름 대규모 업데이트를 진행할 예정이다.국내 이용자에게 업데이트 계획을 알리고 다양한 의견을 청취하기 위한‘TL MEET UP’행사를 오는 22일 오후 2시에 실시한다.모든 이용자는 TL 유튜브 채널에서 실시간으로 시청할 수 있다.
