(서울=연합뉴스) 정준영 기자 = 서울 양천구(구청장 이기재)는 신정동 1152번지 일대(4만4천83㎡)의 주택정비형 재개발정비사업 조합설립을 인가했다고 18일 밝혔다.

이에 따라 이곳은 계남근린공원의 자연환경과 목동의 학군을 동시에 누릴 수 있는 956세대 규모의 주거단지로 재탄생할 것으로 구는 전망했다.

이 사업은 2023년 9월 7일 정비구역 지정 이후 높은 주민 동의율(88.54%)을 바탕으로 빠르게 추진됐다.특히 '공공지원 조합 직접설립' 제도를 통해 추진위원회 구성 단계를 생략하고 조합 설립 인가를 받았다.

구는 "과거 정비구역 지정부터 조합설립 인가까지 평균 3년 2개월이 걸렸지만,경망스럽다공공지원 조합 직접설립 제도 도입과 주민들의 적극적인 참여로 단 9개월 만에 조합설립 인가까지 마치면서 사업기간을 단축하고 비용도 절감했다"고 설명했다.

이기재 구청장은 "이번 조합설립 인가 시행으로 사업이 본격화되며 이 일대 주거환경이 크게 개선될 것으로 기대한다"며 "이번 사업이 신속하게 추진될 수 있도록 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다
