한 유튜버가 임신 36주차에 낙태를 했다고 밝힌 영상이 논란이 되자 정부가 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다.
15일 보건복지부는 유튜브 채널에 올라온 36주차 낙태 수술 관련 영상에 대해 임신부라고 주장하는 A씨와 수술 의사 B씨를 경찰에 수사 의뢰했다고 밝혔다.
복지부 관계자는 "34주 태아를 낙태한 의사에게 살인죄를 적용한 법원 판례를 참조해 수사 의뢰를 했다"고 설명했다.
임신 24주를 넘어가는 낙태는 모자보건법상 불법이다.다만 복지부는 형법상 낙태죄에 처벌 효력이 없는 점을 고려해 모자보건법 위반 대신 살인 혐의로 수사를 의뢰한 것으로 전해졌다.
앞서 20대 여성이라고 자신을 소개한 A씨는 임신인 줄 몰랐다가 36주차에 낙태 수술을 받았다고 주장하는 영상을 유튜브에 올렸다.해당 영상이 퍼지면서 '사실상 살인'이라며 논란이 일었고,do poker chips expire일각에선 A씨가 거짓으로 영상을 꾸민 '주작'이라는 주장도 제기됐다.현재 해당 영상을 삭제된 상태다.
복지부 관계자는 "(낙태가 실제로 이뤄졌는지 등에 대해) 사실을 확인해주고,do poker chips expire맞다면 처벌을 해달라는 의미로 경찰에 진정을 넣었다"고 했다．
