서울 남대문경찰서는 26일 민주노총 조합원 23명을 퇴거 불응 혐의로 현행범 체포했다고 밝혔다.이 중 1명은 가슴 통증을 호소하며 인근 병원에 이송됐다.

이들은 이날 오전 10시부터 서울 중구 서울고용지방노동청(서울고용지청)에서 최저임금 차별 적용 논의 중단 시위를 진행하던 중 퇴거 요청에 불응한 혐의를 받는다.

해당 시위는 앉아서 진행하는 연좌 시위 방식으로 진행됐고,챔피언스 칼건물 관리자가 안전을 염려해 단체에 나가달라고 요청한 것으로 확인됐다.

공공기관인 서울고용지청은 누구나 자유롭게 출입할 수 있어 주거침입 혐의는 적용되지 않았다.

경찰은 정확한 사건 경위를 조사할 예정이다.
