통계청‘2024년 5월 온라인쇼핑 동향’

[헤럴드경제=박병국 기자] 5월 온라인 쇼핑 거래액이 지난해 같은 달보다 7.7% 늘어난 것으로 나타났다.

1일 통계청이 발표한‘2024년 5월 온라인 쇼핑 동향’에 따르면 지난 5월 온라인 쇼핑 거래액은 20조8652억원으로,지난해 같은 달보다 증가했다.5월 거래액 기준으로는 역대 최대다.

쇼핑 거래액 증가는 가정의 달을 맞아 식품 소비가 늘어난 영향이 컸다.5월에는 중소기업·소상공인 할인 행사인 동행축제도 열렸다.

음·식료품(16.1%),모바일 bet365여행·교통서비스(11.7%)가 전체 거래액 증가세를 견인했다.자동차·자동차용품은 지난해 같은 달‘마이너스’였던 기저효과와 5월 자동차 판매 증가의 영향으로 75.0% 늘었다.

반면 패션 부문은 줄줄이 감소세를 보였다.가방 거래액은 1년 전보다 10.2% 급감했다.의복과 신발은 각각 4.7%,3.2% 줄었다.

이는 안전성 논란에 휩싸이며 이용자가 감소한 알리와 테무 등 C커머스(중국 전자상거래업체)와 무관하지 않다.실제 애플리케이션(앱)·리테일 분석 서비스 와이즈앱·리테일·굿즈에 따르면 5월 알리익스프레스와 테무의 한국 활성 이용자(MAU) 수는 830만명과 797만명으로 전달보다 3.4%,모바일 bet3653.3% 각각 감소했다.

온라인 쇼핑의 상품군별 거래액 구성비는 음·식료품(13.9%)이 가장 많았다.여행·교통서비스(11.4%),음식서비스(11.3%)가 그 뒤를 이었다.

온라인 쇼핑 중 모바일 쇼핑 거래액은 15조5144억원으로 1년 전보다 7.8% 늘었다.모바일 쇼핑 거래액은 역대 최대 수준이다.온라인 쇼핑 거래액서 모바일의 비중은 74.4%로 지난해 같은 달보다 0.1%p(포인트) 증가했다.

한편 모바일쇼핑 거래액은 작년 동월 대비 음·식료품(20.0%),모바일 bet365음식서비스(8.6%),여행교통서비스(12.3%) 등에서 증가했다.의복(-4.5%),모바일 bet365신발(-3.9%),가방(-9.8%) 등에서는 감소했다.
