최종 5개 유망 창업기업 선발해 3억원 규모 시드 투자

부산시는 19일 오후 1시 30분 부산 이(e)스포츠 경기장에서 'B-스타트업 챌린지(창업투자경진대회)' 본선을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

올해로 6회째를 맞는 'B-스타트업 챌린지'는 유망 창업기업을 발굴·육성하기 위한 대회로 현재까지 모두 24개의 수상 기업을 배출하고,이상한 피카츄 월드컵240억원의 후속투자를 유치했다.

이 대회는 전국에서 유일하게 지분투자 방식으로 진행되는 데,초기 투자를 받기 어려운 창업기업들이 시드 투자와 연계해 사업 지원 및 후속 투자를 받음으로써 기업 성장의 토대를 마련할 수 있다.

올해는 모두 212개 사가 참여했으며,서면심사와 예선심사를 거쳐 부산지역 4개 기업을 포함한 10개 사가 본선에 진출했다.

이날 본선 진출 10개사 중 최종 5개 사를 선발해 대상과 금상,이상한 피카츄 월드컵은상,동상,특별상 등을 수여한다.수상기업에는 총 3억원 규모의 지분투자가 진행된다.투자금액은 BNK부산은행에서 전액 출자한다.

박형준 부산시장은 "이번 대회를 통해 혁신적이고 우수한 기업들이 지역에서 세계적인 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
