올해 국내 대기업 대표이사의 평균 연령이 4년 전보다 1.1세 많은 59.6세로 집계됐습니다.

서울대 출신 최고경영자(CEO)의 비중은 이전보다 감소했습니다.

3일 기업데이터연구소 CEO스코어에 따르면,2024년 지정 매출 기준 500대기업 가운데 대표이사 이력 조사가 가능한 405곳(528명)을 분석한 결과,올해 대표이사의 평균 연령은 59.6세로 나타났습니다.

4년 전인 2020년(531명) 평균 연령 58.5세보다 1.1세 높아진 수치입니다.

60대 대표이사의 비중이 50대를 초과하는 '고령화' 현상도 두드러졌습니다.

2020년 52.5%(279명)로 과반을 차지했던 50대 대표이사는 올해 40.0%(211명)로 12.5%p 줄었습니다.

반면,같은 기간 60대 대표이사는 35.0%(186명)에서 48.7%(257명)로 13.7%p 늘며,50대를 앞질렀습니다.

30∼40대 대표이사는 6.6%(35명)로 4년 전보다 1.1%p 줄었고,파워볼 영어70대 이상 대표이사는 4.7%(25명)로 4년 전과 비슷했습니다.

서울대 출신 대표이사는 모두 113명(21.4%)으로 4년 전(135명,25.4%)보다 4.0%p 감소했습니다.

다만,전체에서 차지하는 비중은 여전히 가장 높았습니다.

연세대와 고려대 출신 대표이사는 각각 64명(12.1%)으로,4년 전과 비교하면 각각 15명(2.9%p)과 4명(0.8%p) 늘었습니다.

이들 'SKY 대학' 출신 대표이사 비중은 45.6%(241명)로,2020년 45.9%(244명) 대비 소폭 감소했습니다.

이어 한양대 출신이 23명,성균관대 20명,부산대와 서강대 각각 19명,파워볼 영어한국외대 15명,인하대 11명,파워볼 영어경북대 8명 등의 순으로 나타났습니다.

비(非) 서울권 소재 대학 출신 대표이사는 99명(18.8%)으로,파워볼 영어2020년(103명,19.4%)보다 소폭 감소한 반면,파워볼 영어외국 대학 출신 대표이사는 4년 새 1.7%p(45명,파워볼 영어8.5%→54명,10.2%) 증가했습니다.

고졸 출신 대표이사는 3명으로 2020년과 같았습니다.
