메르세데스-벤츠코리아는 공식 보증 서비스 기간이 종료된 이후에도 원하는 시점에 새롭게 가입할 수 있는 보증 연장 상품 '워런티 플러스 엑스트라(Warrant Plus Extra)'를 새롭게 선보인다고 25일 밝혔다.

워런티 플러스 엑스트라 서비스는 차량의 최초 등록일로부터 7년 및 적산거리 15만m 이내라면 공식 서비스 보증기간이 종료됐더라도 원하는 시점에 가입이 가능한 상품이다.

기존의 보증 연장 상품과 동일하게 파워트레인,차체,야구 유료화일반부품 등에 대한 보증 수리 혜택 및 긴급출동 서비스 등 외에도 자동차 종합검사 비용 환급 서비스를 제공한다.

새롭게 출시된 워런티 플러스 엑스트라를 통해 벤츠 고객은 차량 구매 후 8년까지도 보증 가입을 유지할 수 있어 장기간 소유하더라도 보다 안심하고 차량 운행이 가능하다.벤츠 신차 및 중고차 고객 모두 원하는 시점에 가입할 수 있어 효율적인 비용으로 공식 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.

벤츠 코리아는 신차와 중고차 판매 등이 확대됨에 따라 보증기간 종료 이후에는 신규 가입이 어려웠던 기존과 달리 고객이 원하는 시점에 새로 보증 연장 서비스에 가입할 수 있도록 서비스를 제공해 더 많은 고객이 전국의 공식 서비스센터에서 고품질의 서비스를 경험할 수 있도록 했다.

워런티 플러스 엑스트라는 전국 75개 벤츠 공식 서비스센터에서 사전 점검 및 사고 이력 등 이상여부 심사를 거쳐 가입할 수 있다.가입 가격은 차량에 따라 130만원에서 798만원으로 다양하다.
