특화단지 경쟁력 강화에 국비 60억원 투입

2024년 신규 지정 뿌리산업 특화단지.ⓒ산업통상자원부[데일리안 = 임은석 기자] 산업통상자원부는 제24차 '뿌리산업발전위원회'를 열고 '2024년도 뿌리산업 특화단지 지정(안)'을 12일 심의·의결했다.이를 통해 전남,충남,넥스트 바카라경기,부산 등 4개 지역의 우수한 뿌리산업 집적지를 특화단지로 13일 지정 고시한다다.

지정된 특화단지는 전남 율촌 뿌리산업 특화단지,충남 예산신소재 뿌리산업 특화단지,넥스트 바카라경기 반월 염색 뿌리산업 특화단지,부산섬유염색가공 특화단지 등이다.

산업부는 이미 지정된 특화단지 중 울산 3D프린팅 뿌리산업특화단지,완주 뿌리산업 특화단지 등 9개 단지에 대해 지원 과제도 확정했다.국비 60억원을 투입하여 공동 활용시설 구축 및 공동 혁신활동을 지원한다.

그동안 산업부는 2013년부터 뿌리기업의 집적화와 협동화를 촉진하고 단지 내 뿌리기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 '뿌리산업 진흥과 첨단화에 관한 법률' 제20조,제21조에 따라 지금까지(2013~2024년) 총 14개 지방자치단체에 58개 특화단지를 지정했다.에너지 공급시설 구축,넥스트 바카라물류 효율화 등 103개 과제에 총 국비 643억원을 지원해 다양한 성과를 창출해 왔다.

산업부는 앞으로도 특화단지를 기반으로 뿌리기업의 환경개선과 혁신을 지원하고 지역전략산업과의 긴밀한 연계를 통해 시너지를 낼 수 있도록 지원을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
