경북 포항 한 자동차 정비소에 입고된 고급 승용차량에서 화재가 발생해 차량이 모두 불에 타는 피해를 입었다.
27일 경북소방본부에 따르면 이날 오전 4시 18분쯤 포항시 남구 연일읍 한 자동차 정비소에 입고돼 있던 제네시스 G90에서 불이나 엔진룸 등 차량을 모두 태우고 3천600만원 상당(소방서 추산)의 재산피해를 낸 뒤 신고를 받고 출동한 소방대원에 의해 30여 분 만에 꺼졌다.
화재로 인한 인명피해는 없었다.
소방당국은 엔진룸에서 전기적 요인에 의해 불이 난 것으로 보고 정확한 화재 원인을 조사 중이다.
