방송통신위원회(방통위)가 오픈AI의 '챗GPT'가 현행법을 위반했는지에 대한 사실조사에 착수했다.

27일 방통위에 따르면 유관 부서는 챗GPT 유료서비스 이용자의 서비스 이용한도 제한 및 이용자의 해지 제한 행위가 전기통신사업법을 위반했는지 여부를 살피고 있다.챗GPT 유료 가입자에 대한 이용자 고지가 제대로 이뤄졌는지 등이다.
